Dubai Club For People Of Determination and Emirates Auction sign a Memorandum of Understanding

Dubai Club For People Of Determination has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Emirates Auction, the leading auction company in the field of managing and organizing public sales and electronic auctions in the Middle East. The aim behind this memorandum is to organize and arrange charity auctions for the club and train its members to handle the auctions professionally.

 
The Memorandum was signed at a press conference that took place at Dubai Club For People Of Determination’ office on (Monday). The goal is to support the “National Policy to empower People of determination” through developing cooperation between both sides as well as involving the company and club representatives in several sport activities in the community.


The MoU was signed by HE Mohammed Abdul Karim Julphar, Vice President of Dubai Club for People of Determination, HE Abdalla Matar Al Mannai, Chairman and Managing Director of the Emirates Auction, in the presence of HE Majid Al Usaimi , Executive Director at Dubai Club For People Of Determination; HE Omar Matar Al Mannai, Vice Chairman of Emirates Auction and many other officials from both sides.



HE Mohammed Abdul Karim Julphar, Vice President of Dubai Club for People of Determination stated, that the signing of the MoU between Dubai Club For People Of Determination and Emirates Auction is to activate the partnership between the various governmental, semi-governmental and private foundations as well as supporting the activities and programs for the people of determination in every opportunity that will inspire them to overcome obstacles. He also mentioned that this MoU is a step forward towards creating a barrier-free society that secures good life for the people of determination and their families as well as providing them with equal opportunities in the society

Julphar pointed out, that the agreement between both sides will increase the exchange of experiences and support the efforts of the club and company in the field of charity and serve the UAE community at various levels.

HE Abdalla Matar Al Mannai, praised the role of Dubai Club For People Of Determination and its efforts in translating the wise vision of the UAE leadership in supporting the people of determination and enable them to accomplish achievements in various fields in the society as well as creating solutions to end the obstacles that prevents them to integrate with the society.


Al Mannai, pointed out that the Emirates Auction is keen on organizing public sales and electronic auctions to support the efforts of the Dubai Club for people of determination and its humanitarian, social events and activities. He also stated that the cooperation with the club is a part of emirates auctions duty towards the society including people of determination.


HE Majid Al Usaimi, stated that signing the MoU with Emirates Auction translates the club’s strategic plan to provide the largest number of sports that suit the abilities of its members and qualify them to participate in local and international sports activities as well as involve them in various programmes and training courses.

It's important to mention that the Dubai Club For The Disabled changed its name officially to Dubai Club For People Of Determination last April in line with the instructions of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The club was founded in 1993, to prepare the people of determination to play their social and cultural rolls in the society as well as prepare them to integrate with the community.
