Dubai, UAE: The Dubai Club for People of Determination has launched the 10th edition of its Summer Programme under the theme "Our Summer Leaves a Mark," welcoming 220 participants for six weeks of educational, recreational, and sporting activities designed to empower people of determination during their summer break.

Running until 30 July, the programme features 120 activities, including specialised programmes, sports sessions, 42 recreational trips, arts and crafts workshops, and interactive training programmes. The activities are designed to help participants make the most of their summer by developing new skills, building confidence, and enhancing their physical and mental well-being.

The opening ceremony was marked by a warm welcome from the artificial intelligence robot "G1," which greeted guests and participants before a series of interactive performances and entertainment segments that set the tone for the programme's milestone 10th edition.

Majid Al Usaimi, Executive Director of Dubai Club for People of Determination, said: “Dubai Club for People of Determination continues to embody the vision of our wise leadership by providing an inclusive environment that empowers people of determination and supports their full integration into society. Through initiatives such as our Summer Programme, we seek to create meaningful opportunities that enable participants to discover their talents, strengthen their abilities, and contribute positively to their communities.”

He added: “The programme is designed to ensure that people of determination enjoy a productive and enriching summer through educational, cultural, recreational, and sporting activities that promote their physical and mental well-being while developing valuable life skills. It also offers families the opportunity to learn more about the Club's diverse programmes and the important role they play in nurturing the potential of people of determination.”

Al Usaimi also highlighted the Club's commitment to strengthening community partnerships, noting that collaboration with government and private sector organisations continues to enhance the quality and impact of its initiatives.

Al Usaimi also thanked the Club's organising team, led by Assistant Executive Director Fawzia Al Balushi, for their efforts in preparing the milestone edition, expressing his confidence that the programme will provide participants with inspiring experiences, engaging activities, and opportunities to discover new talents in an environment that combines learning, creativity and fun.
